Not only are hotel rooms more expensive and far from the beach where parking is sometimes impossible, unless you rent two suites with cooking privileges you will have to dine out every meal and take your clothes to the laundromat. Our four bedroom home just 40 feet from the sand has the ability to act as the hub of your summer vacation experience or just stay and play. John Wayne Airport (SNA) is just 20 minutes away.
This way not everyone has to go as a group everywhere. Some can relax "at home" on the deep, shaded balcony watching the ocean or play in the surf while others explore SoCal by car or bike. This classic summer beach rental property sleeps 8 upstairs and is located at 51st St. and Seashore Dr., Newport Beach, CA. Major upgrades were completed inside and out! Family owned since construction and still enjoyed by the owners in the winter. We take great pride in cleanliness and have a team of professional cleaners spend at least two hours between guests because it's not just a rental to us, it's our home. 75% of our guests have vacationed with us before, some for many years.

Only one house from the sand (40 steps or about a 10 second walk) at one of the premier surfing locations in Southern California. Surfing competitions are often held at 52nd St., one block north called Echo Beach in the 80's.
Secure WiFi, 55" and 42" HDTVs, Spectrum high speed internet, Roku in Guest Mode, Piped gas (never run out) barbecue on the balcony with ocean views. Washer and dryer. Retractable awning to stay cool in the shade! Six ceiling fans throughout. The large back balcony is great for star gazing and late afternoon shade. We have a professional concrete attached bike rack for 5 and your own locked double door surfboard and beach equipment storage in the covered garage. Parking for three: two forward and one perpendicular behind.
This (non wheelchair accessible) upstairs summer vacation rental has four bedrooms, two bathrooms one a shower/tub and the other a shower. Additional hot shower in the laundry room downstairs. Central air conditioning.
Lock your bikes to a professional 5 station rack securely bolted to concrete. Store your surfboards, beach toys and water gear in the locked double door garage storage. Take a hot shower even before going upstairs to take in the views from the wide deep balcony. Wall hooks for all your towels and beach chairs. Retractable awning on deep balcony for people and surf watching all day.

I can't say enough about what this place means to me. I grew up here. Learned to surf, learned to sail, had all my favorite memories here -- digging for sand crabs with my grandfather, summers with my childhood best friends, sunsets with my parents, walks on the beach with my husband, even my bachelorette party -- my heart belongs to this beach house, and so many other people feel the same way...which really says something.
